The story countinues

I've been working one a Myspace page off and on this week. Also trying to figure out whats up with the GOODREADS site that I did join, but now can't get back into. Vanessa has been trying to help me with this.

Hello

It's been awhile since I last posted. I've been adding info to the computer class calendar at least several times. It 's getting easier each time. I told Vanessa that I really like working with the new tab system.

Two birds with one stone

Over last week I learned more about wikis , and worked withthe online productivity tools. I made changes on the Computer class schedule, and on my Time Off File. Also added to the staff wiki in the collection devolpement section.

I also looked at my RSS feeds at home over the weekend.

now comes catch-up time

After being off for almost a week now I have to catch-up on my stuff. I did sign up for several RSS feeds including the BBC & Readers Advisory Online. I'm also going to keep my eyes open for more feeds that look interesting.

Busy week

I've been busy this week trying to get things cleared up before I have a few days off. The Summer Reading program started on Monday. So far there are 16 people signed up, mostly staff. Louise and I are getting a survey together on Manga & Graphic Novels to find out what the kids (of all ages) would like to see us have.

Summer Reading

I've spent yesterday getting the stuff ready for the Summer Reading.
The Punch Bowl is decorated, packets are ready and the sign up sheets
are in the book. Keeping fingers crossed for a decent turn out.

Book discussion

Tonight was book discussion. We did the Jane Austen Book Club.
All but one of the ladies who came disliked the book, several couldn't
even finish it. Frankly it wasn't on my favorite's list.

1st try again

Hadn't planned on having to redo my blog, but I couldn't remember what I used to set it up,
so I redid it. Setting up the blog is very easy, problem is remembering the little things like
name, url etc. this time I wrote them down so that I have I cheat sheet til it becomes second
nature.
